If your roof is slate. Usually it is the fixings that fail, not the slate. We re-fix slipped slates and replace broken ones with slate to match.
If your roof is clay or concrete tile. Cracked and slipped tiles are swapped for matching ones, and the ridge and hips re-bedded when the mortar breaks down.
If some of your roof is flat. We find out why it is holding or letting in water, then repair it or lay a new covering.
If you have a bay or a porch roof. Small roofs over bays and porches have their own lead and joints, and they are a common source of damp. We repair or renew them in tile, slate or lead.
