Your Gutters And Roofline Sorted
Gutters, pipes and boards, all of it. Gutters, downpipes, fascias and soffits, repaired or replaced in a style that suits your house.
Rain kept off your walls. A working gutter carries water off your roof and away from the brickwork. We get yours doing that again.
Your free roof check comes first. Your gutters, downpipes and the eaves above them all get looked at, with no obligation. Call 01803 446 106.
Your roof
Water Going Where It Should Not?
Heavy rain shows it up. Rain cascades past the gutter over the porch. The same corner of the patio is always wet. One length leans away from your house, or the wood holding it looks soft and peeling.
We fix the gutter and what holds it up. Call us and we will find out why your gutters are failing. The work we take on for you:
- Gutter repairs - leaking joints resealed, brackets renewed and sagging runs on your house reset to the right fall.
- New gutters and downpipes - a complete replacement when your old system is beyond repair.
- Fascia boards - soft, rotting wood behind your gutter taken off and a sound new board fitted, not hidden under plastic.
- Soffits - the underside boards at the eaves replaced, with vents added if your loft needs air.
- Downpipes - cracked, loose or missing pipes replaced and fixed back firmly.
- Eaves repairs - slipped tiles and torn felt at your roof edge put right, as they send water behind the gutter.
What you get from us
What You Get From Our Roofline Work
The Timber Behind It Checked
The fascia and roof edge are looked at as well as the gutter, because a new gutter on rotten wood will not stay put.
The Right Fall
Your gutter is fixed with enough slope and enough brackets for the water to reach the downpipe.
Styled To Suit
Your new gutters come in a shape and colour that suit the house.

What to look for
When Gutters And Fascias Start To Fail
Gutters only get noticed once they stop working. Step outside next time it rains and you will see most of what matters. Call us if you spot any of these on your house.
- Water spilling over the front - the run has sagged out of line, or the tiles above no longer drain into it.
- One joint dripping - a worn rubber seal at the joint, and drips like that tend to grow.
- A run that sags - brackets have pulled loose, often because the board behind has gone soft.
- Flaking paint or soft timber - your fascia or soffit is taking in water and beginning to rot.
- Green or dark streaks on the wall - water from your gutter has been running down the brickwork for a while.
- Damp high up on a bedroom wall - overflowing water can soak through to the inside.

Common questions
Guttering Questions
Usually a run has dropped out of level, there are too few downpipes for the size of roof, or the tiles and felt at the edge no longer feed water into the gutter. We check each of these and tell you which applies to your house. A blocked gutter is the other usual cause, and that is not a job we do.
The gutter has to come off to reach the fascia, so the two are usually done together. Sound gutters can often be refitted on the new board. We will tell you if yours are worth keeping.
Replaced. Cladding hides the rot without stopping it, and the gutter brackets stay screwed into wood that carries on decaying. The old fascia should come off and new timber go up.
A leaking joint, a loose bracket or a single cracked length is a repair. Gutters that are brittle, warped or leaking along the whole run are better replaced. Your free roof check will tell you which.
The fascia is the board along the edge of the roof that the gutter fixes to. The soffit is the board underneath it, running back to the wall. Together they keep weather and birds out of the roof edge.
Black, white, brown and grey, in several profiles, including some made to look like traditional cast iron. We will help you choose one that suits your house.
Yes. On a terrace your gutter usually runs straight into your neighbours' either side, and the new length is joined to theirs so the whole run still drains.
